Angel Alfaro Echevarria (b.Yaguajay, Cuba, 1952) Painting, National School of Art, Havana, Master in Fine Arts, Engraving specialization, Superior Institute of Art, Havana, Techniques of Contemporary Engraving, Atelier 17 from S.W. Hayter, Paris. Master’s degree in arts, Mention Fine Arts, Superior Institute of Art, Havana. He presently works as permanent professor in Francisco Jose de Caldas District University, in the project of Fine and Visual Arts from Arts Faculty- ASAB, Bogota. Since 1975, he’s a member of Cuba’s Union of Writers and Artists (UNEAC), Havana, the Experimental Workshop of Graphics (TEG), Havana’s Cathedral Square, the International Association of Fine Artists (AIAP) and the Association of Latin American Graphic Artists (AAGL). His works are in Museums and permanent collections such as Museum of Contemporary Art Quinta San Pedro Alejandrino, Santa Marta, Colombia / National Museum of Fine arts, Havana / Wolfang Schneider.
